Abstract (English)
The overall purpose of the study is to conduct a comparative, cross-national, study of care-work in modern European welfare states. Different types of payments for care have different implications for the organisation of paid or unpaid care, on the commodification of care, employer-employee relationships in care or labour market implications. Qualitative research interviews and quantitative data will be used to investigate these issues.
