Abstract (German)

Dieses Projekt thematisiert die Reputation von Nonprofit-Organisationen und konzentriert sich insbesondere auf den Einfluss von Reputation auf die Unterstützungsabsicht der Stakeholder von Nonprofit-Organisationen. Das Projekt basiert auf der Literatur zu Nonprofit-Effektivität und -Performancemessung. Mit den dargelegten Forschungsschritten soll das Managementwissen weiterentwickelt werden hinsichtlich der Frage, wie Nonprofit-Organisationen ihre Reputation nutzen können, um die Unterstützung ihrer Stakeholder zu steigern. Hauptziel dieses Projekts ist es, die Einflussfaktoren auf die Wahrnehmung und die Reputation von Nonprofit-Organisationen (1) im Laufe der Zeit (2) durch soziale Interaktionen (3) mit und unter den verschiedenen Gruppen von Stakeholdern zu untersuchen.

Abstract (English)

This project focuses on reputation of nonprofit organizations, and on how it influences the intentions of stakeholders to support these nonprofit organizations. The project is built on the literature of nonprofit effectiveness and performance measurement, and the research steps proposed are aimed to further develop managerial knowledge on how nonprofit organizations can manage their reputation to increase stakeholder support. The main goal of this project is to investigate how perceptions and reputations on non-profit organizations are shaped (1) over time (2) through social interactions (3) with and among various groups of stakeholders.
