Abstract (English)

ELISAA is based on a multilateral partnership between Institutions, Albanian and European Universities (AEUs), Umbrella organizations for creating wider links between Albanian SMEs and the academic institutions. The aim is to build up a higher and vocational training in the agricultural sector through an e-learning course. In this way, new strategies for developing the agro-industry and to overcome the decline of the sector will be introduced. ELISAA will focus on no-food uses of biomass (agricultural crops and residual biomass) in particular for the hypothesis of bio-fuels generations. The e-learning higher and vocational training course will be realized through an e-platform capable of managing lessons, texts and vocational grids, of tracking courses progress or editing contents, making reports etc.

Wider Objectives

To contribute in raising the Albanian Universities (AUs) within the principles of EU at the light of the national priorities
To improve the development of AUs and enhance the link with the enterprises
Specific Objectives
To establish cooperation between EAUs and enterprises to adapt vocational training and research to the actual needs of the agriculture and agro-industry sector
To enhance new strategy and policy towards no-food uses of biomass, in particular in the bio-fuel generation
To establish technological transfer for continuing lifelong learning vocational training
To introduce innovation in enterprises in the form of new products and new strategy in order to improve competitiveness
